
Melanie A. Union, Director of Catering
Melanie joined the team in September of 2007. Melanie brings with her over 10 years of Catering and Event Planning experience with her most recent position held at the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Dome as a Senior Catering Manager. She planned and executed events such as the annual SEC Football Championship, the 2007 Men's Final Four Championship, the Atlanta Boat Show and other nationally known conventions, trade shows, and sports entertainment. Melanie has a Bachelor's Degree from Emory University and a Masters Degree from Florida State University.

Kimberly Coates, Catering Manager
Kim has been a part of the Georgia Tech Catering team since 1999. Kim's knowledge of the campus and its clients is invaluable for our team. Kim came to Georgia Tech Catering from the New Orleans Convention Center and the Superdome as the Director of Catering and Banquets. She has over 20 years experience in the industry, and has played integral roles in such events as the annual Sugar Bowl, Superbowl XXV, and the national Microsoft Global Briefing. Kim graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Degree in Hospitality Management.

Rimbold Bordeau, Executive Chef
Chef Bordeau came to Georgia Tech in 2004. Previously, he worked at the Georgia World Congress Center and the Georgia Dome playing a role in such events as Superbowl XXVIII, Superbowl XXXIV, and the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympics. Chef Bordeau has over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. Originally from Haiti, he has a Caribbean influenced European flair that is unique to his cuisine.
Madison Keith, Catering Administrative Assistant
Madison joined the team full time in Spring of 2007. She has been an integral part of the day to day activities behind the scenes of Georgia Tech Catering. Madison is a part-time Georgia Tech student studying Applied Mathematics.
